The County Road Association of Michigan represents the interests and concerns of Michigan's 83 county road agencies. Along with each county road agency, CRAM is working to ensure safe and efficient roads for all who travel in Michigan.
The mission of the County Road Association of Michigan is to promote greater efficiency in the operation of Michigan county road systems through the cooperative efforts of its members.
- Educate members and the general public about county road issues.
- Conduct annual meetings and conferences to share information.
- Encourage school and study courses for discussion of county road matters.
- Maintain a central bureau of information and research.
- Collect, analyze and disseminate information about county road issues to the media.
- Encourage legislation beneficial to county road commissions and the travelling public.
- Provide consulting services and advice on all phases of county road activities to promote safe, efficient road systems.
Individual county road commissions are responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of all county roads and bridges within their jurisdiction. Road commissions are staffed by talented teams of administrative, engineering, construction and road maintenance professionals.
