    Alpena County Road Commission seeks bids for Annual Requirements

    Sealed proposals will be received by the Alpena County Road Commission, 1400 North Bagley Street, Alpena, Michigan, 49707, until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at which time and place the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud for furnishing the annual requirements of the following materials: All prices quoted are to be F.O.B.     Lapeer County Road Commission seeks bids for the following projects:

    The Lapeer County Road Commission will receive sealed bids for the following projects until 1:00PM Local Time, Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at the Road Commission Office, 820 Davis Lake Road, Lapeer, MI, 48446 at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read for the following projects: Plans and Specifications are on file and are available at the Lapeer County Road Commission Office, 820 Davis Lk. Road, Lapeer, MI (810) 664-6272. Prospective bidders must have current or extended prequalification with the Michigan Department of Transportation, and must have the proper classification and numerical rating required for the work bid.
    A certified check or bank draft payable to the Lapeer County Road Commission or a bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance and labor and materials bonds.
    The Lapeer County Road Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding and to make the award as may appear to be in the best interest of the County of Lapeer. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids for at least forty-five (45) days.

    Ionia County Road Commission seeks bids for Limestone

    Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Ionia County Road Commissioners until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Commission offices for the following: The contractor shall certify that all materials and construction meet current Michigan Department of Transportation specifications. All bids will meet or exceed the specifications established by the Ionia County Road Commission and/or Michigan Department of Transportation.

    St. Clair County Road Commission seeks bids for Yard Management and Operation

    Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Board of County Road Commissioners of the County of St. Clair, 21 Airport Drive, St. Clair, Michigan 48079, until 1:00 p.m., WEDNESDAY, MARCH 7, 2012 for the following: Proposals, bid forms and other information are available at the office of the Road Commission at 21 Airport Drive, St. Clair, MI (810-364-5720). Proposals and specifications may also be obtained from the Road Commission Web Site at www.sccrc-roads.org. It shall be the bidder's responsibility to print out the proposal in its entirety and submit the completed bid proposal to the Road Commission office in a sealed envelope plainly marked with the bid contents by the time and date as shown above.     The Road Commission for Oakland County seeks bids for three road projects

    Benzie County Road Commission seeks bids for Reynolds Road Over The Platte River Three Span Timber Bridge

    Sealed bids for materials for the proposed Three Span Timber Bridge on Reynolds Road over the Platte River are requested and will be received until 10:00 a.m. on March 15, 2012, at the Benzie County Road Commission Office, 11318 Main Street (US-31), P.O. Box 68, Honor, MI 49640, at which time they will be opened and read aloud.
    Supplying materials for this project will include design, fabrication, and delivery of a timber structure per the Engineer's plans, specifications, section 705 (Foundation Piling) and section 709 (Timber Structures) of the 2012 MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction.
    Plans and Specifications will be on file and available from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday starting on February 22, 2012 at the Benzie County Road Commission Office. Persons desiring paper or electronic copies of the plans should contact Nancy A. Roseman, at 231-325-3051 x207.
    Each bid proposal shall be submitted on the provided Bid Form. A certified check, cashier's check or an acceptable bid bond for a sum of no less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid will be required with each submittal.
    No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for the receipt of the bids.
    Materials shall be delivered to the bridge site within 10 weeks of design plan approval.

    Monroe County Road Commission Invitation to Bid Sweeping Curb and Gutter

    Sealed bids will be received by the Board of County Road Commissioners of Monroe County, at their office located at 840 S. Telegraph Road, Monroe, Michigan, until 10:00 A.M., Monday, March 19, 2012 for the following work: Bids shall be made on a per sweeping basis and shall be awarded separately for each sweeping included in the proposal. This is a three (3) year bid.
