Ionia County Road Commission seeks bids for Limestone
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Ionia County Road Commissioners until
2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Commission offices for the following:

The contractor shall certify that all materials and construction meet current Michigan Department of Transportation specifications. All bids will meet or exceed the specifications established by the Ionia County Road Commission and/or Michigan Department of Transportation.

Benzie County Road Commission seeks bids for Reynolds Road Over The Platte River Three Span Timber Bridge
Sealed bids for materials for the proposed Three Span Timber Bridge on Reynolds Road over the Platte River are requested and will be received until
10:00 a.m. on March 15, 2012, at the Benzie County Road Commission Office, 11318 Main Street (US-31), P.O. Box 68, Honor, MI 49640, at which time they will be opened and read aloud.
Supplying materials for this project will include design, fabrication, and delivery of a timber structure per the Engineer's plans, specifications, section 705 (Foundation Piling) and section 709 (Timber Structures) of the 2012 MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction.
Plans and Specifications will be on file and available from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday starting on
February 22, 2012 at the Benzie County Road Commission Office. Persons desiring paper or electronic copies of the plans should contact

Each bid proposal shall be submitted on the provided Bid Form. A certified check, cashier's check or an acceptable bid bond for a sum of no less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid will be required with each submittal.

Materials shall be delivered to the bridge site within 10 weeks of design plan approval.

Monroe County Road Commission Invitation to Bid Sweeping Curb and Gutter
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of County Road Commissioners of Monroe County, at their office located at 840 S. Telegraph Road, Monroe, Michigan, until
10:00 A.M., Monday, March 19, 2012 for the following work:
- To sweep 39.4 curb miles on all State Trunklines in Monroe County, one (1) time with two optional sweeps. The first sweeping to end on May 21st. Times for optional sweeps would be coordinated with Superintendent of Maintenance. Material to be picked up and disposed of by contractor. Contractor will also pick up large objects before sweeping.
Bids shall be made on a per sweeping basis and shall be awarded separately for each sweeping included in the proposal. This is a three (3) year bid.
